Reflexology

Basic Reflexology

Reflexology reduces stress,

invites calm,

and cultivates self-healing.

Consider that there is a map of the body on the feet and hands. Specific points and areas on the feet and hands correspond to all the parts, organs, and glands of the body. By applying a feel good yet therapeutic pressure to these points and areas, messages are sent via the feet and hands to the spine and brain and then communicated to all parts of the body. Because of the increased circulation, all systems receive nutrients. When the circulation is stimulated in this manner, the body finds its way to balance.

I also work with the structural aspect of the feet and hands. Rigidity and soreness can be transformed into tissue that is open, circulating, and integrated which translates not only to the extremities but to the entire body. At the structural level, foot reflexology has been found to be helpful for plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, neuromas, arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, and swelling. Hand reflexology can be helpful for sore fingers and hands, Carpal Tunnel and other repetitive use injuries.

SOME OF THE ISSUES THAT CAN BE ADDRESSED & RESOLVED:
*Foot and hand discomfort
*Plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, arthritis, neuromas, peripheral neuropathy
*Repetitive strain injury, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
*Constipation and other digestive issues
*Endocrine imbalances
*Symptoms related to organs
*Stress and emotional imbalance
